Armed Forces Medical College Pune Admission

AFMC offers MBBS, Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine(MD), DM, M. Ch, PhD and postgraduate diploma programs. Armed Forces Medical College Pune Admission is based on the marks scored in 10+2, MBBS and the entrance exams NEET-UG/ NEET-PG.

Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) Admission and Eligibility Criteria:

  • The student must be unmarried and a wedding through the program is not allowed in AFMC.
  • The candidate age should not be less than 17 and more than 24 years.
  • One must have passed 10+2 level with English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology with an aggregate of 60% of marks from a recognized board.
  • The student must have qualified in the NEET entrance exam conducted by (NTA).

Post-Graduate Courses:

  • Students must have accomplished an MBBS degree from a recognized university.
  • One should have qualified in the NEET-PG entrance exam conducted by (NTA).
  • Candidates must have achieved a one-year rotatory mandatory internship.
  • Admission to the course is based on the NEET-PG score and counseling.

Super Specialty & PhD Courses:

  • One must have completed MD/ MS from a recognized university.

PG Diploma Courses:

  • Students must have passed 10+2 level with English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology with an aggregate of 60% of marks from a recognized board.

Selection Process:

  • The contenders are called for Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning (ToELR), Psychological Assessment Test (PAT), Interview and Medical Examination.
  • The candidates should submit the original mark sheet, NEET-UG/ NEET PG admit card and scorecard of the particular year and original certificate of MCC.
  • Based on NEET-UG/ NEET-PG score and screening at AFMC, admission will be offered to the students of different levels.

Admission process:

  • The students called for the admission process will have to submit the original admit card for NEET-UG containing the NEET Roll number, original mark sheets of their qualifying examination.

The fee structure of Armed Forces Medical College Pune includes university fees, mess charges, uniform charges, tuition fees, course fees and many more.
