BBA LLB Introduction:
Initially, the law program was introduced for 3 years in Indian legal education system. Traditionally the degrees that were conferred carried the title of LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws). The course eligibility requires an individual to have a Bachelor's degree in any program from a recognized university of India.
However, the NLS (National Law Schools) started offering a 5-year integrated degree program with the title of B.A., LL.B upon the suggestions of Bar Council of India, BCI. The National Law University, Jodhpur was the first to introduce the BBA LLB course in 2001 followed by the NLU of West Bengal.
