BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology & Science Admission Test) is an entrance exam conducted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani for admission to its integrated First Degree (FD) programmes. There will be two sessions for the test. It is a computer-based exam held annually that tests the candidate’s knowledge in physics, chemistry, mathematics/ biology, English proficiency and logical reasoning.
BITSAT is a computer-based test which lasts 3 hours. The scores of the BITSAT test are considered along with other factors as past academic record and performance in the personal interview, for admission to the B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) and B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) programs offered by BITS Pilani in its campuses located in Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. When the test is over, the computer will provide the candidate with their results, including their score and the total number of correct and incorrect answers. Only after entering the test results in the test window can the candidate log out of the exam. Before logging out of the test window, the student must complete this action to verify that they have reviewed their scores. For counselling, the BITSAT results will be used to determine the order in which eligible candidates will be placed on the merit list. Eligible candidates are those who have taken the BITSAT-2024 and have applied for admission in the required format with their 12th-grade marks, preferences, and the necessary fees.
