BMS Law College was started during the academic year 1963-64 under the aegis of the BMS Educational Trust. BMS Law College was initially affiliated to Mysore University, later to Bangalore University and now to Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) and is approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi.

BMS College of Law Bangalore has had former Chief Justices of India & former Law & parliamentary affairs ministers associated with it in various capacities from funding & guiding the institution to serving as members of the teaching faculty.

BMS Law College Courses:

BMS College of Law Bangalore offers the following programs:

  • 5 year B.A LLB Integrated course for students who have cleared their 12th/ HSC & wish to pursue law as a profession.
    Eligibility: Applicants who have successfully completed the Pre- University course or Senior Secondary School Course ( +2) or equivalent (10+1, “A” Level in Senior Secondary School Leaving Certificate Course ) from a recognized university or Institution in India or if from any equivalent institution from a foreign country recognized by the Government of that country.
    Duration: 5 years, which are divided into 2 years of Pre- Law followed by 3 years of LLB. The course is spread across 10 semesters and the degree conferred at the end of 5 years is B.A LLB.

  • 3 Years LLB under the Karnataka State Law University
    Eligibility: Students who have completed their graduation ( BA, BSC, Bcom etc) from any recognized university.
    Duration: 3 years, which are divided into 6 semesters LLB program.

BMS Law College Fee Structure

BMS law College admission involves downloading the online application form, filling it & forwarding the filled form to the college address alongwith a Demand Draft of Rs 550/ towards the prospectus & application fee drawn in favor of the Principal, BMS College of Law, payable at Bengaluru. The Prospectus will be sent to the candidate on receipt of the DD. Candidates can contact the college for further admission process and BMS College of Law Fee Structure.
