The eligibility criteria for admissions in BNM Institute Bangalore are as follows:

For B.E Courses:

• Admissions are open to students who have passed the two-year Pre-University Examination(Science) Conducted by Karnataka State Pre-University Board or 10+2 School program of the Central Board (CBSE/ICSE) or those who have passed any other examinations recognized by the VTU as equivalent thereto.
• An Eligibility Certificate from VTU,Belgaum need to be obtained for candidates applying out of Karnataka.
• All relevant details of academic eligibility,recognised equivalent courses for admissions and institutions recognized are periodically fixed by VTU.

The BNMIT admissions procedure for MBA is as follows:

• A minimum aggregate of 50% marks in any streams of Commerce, Arts, Science, Business Management, Law, Agriculture or Engineering disciplines is a prerequisite to seek admission for MBA program.
• Students are required to undertake PGCET/K-MAT/CAT/MAT entrance exam.50% of the seats are allocated based on these tests scores through Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) counselling.
• Another 50%of the seats are filled through Management Quota based on the basis of entrance test rankings. The UG scores will also be considered for merit.
