Top Colleges Accepting CAT Score

The CAT 2024 cut-offs for admission to the MBA 2025 batch of IIMs would range from 95 to 100 percentile. For General/NC-OBC category students, the CAT cut-off percentile for top IIMs is expected to be around 98-100; for SC/ST/PwD category applicants, the cut-off will be lower. For non-IIMs, the CAT cut-off in 2024 could be between 94 and 100 percentile. The institutes will establish the cut-offs based on candidates' overall performance in the CAT 2024 exam.

The qualifying CAT cut-offs for WAT-PI shortlisting are released by IIMs and prominent MBA colleges such as FMS, MDI, SPJIMR, IMT, and MICA prior to the exam to help students understand the eligibility criteria. These colleges do not publish the final CAT cut-offs. However, many other private and government universities make their cutoffs public. MBA applicants should be aware that the CAT cutoffs for major MBA colleges such as SPJIMR, IMT, MDI, FMS, JBIMS, and others are lower than those for IIM.
