Central Library:

The Central Library at CUG has a diverse range of resources that reflect the university's course content and research demands. The learning resource collections of the library are designed with the goal of offering the highest level of research and teaching assistance to the programs and research priority areas. Every year, the collection is re-stocked to ensure that it is relevant to emerging and developing areas of research. The Library houses over 30,000 books and subscribes to over 66 print journals and magazines, as well as over 8000 e-journals. The Library is equipped with KOHA software and computerized library services. The Cyber Library gives easy access to the university's e-journals.

Sports Facilities:

The University believes in the value of physical activity and organized sports and games activities that should be related to students' academic objectives. Despite the limited space available at the University's current location, basic sports facilities are available on campus.

Cultural Activities:

Various cultural clubs on campus encourage cultural activities within the student community. Students are encouraged to take part in a variety of cultural activities.

Earn while you Learn Scheme:

The Earn While You Learn Initiative is a one-of-a-kind program at the Central University of Gujarat that supports students in undergraduate and postgraduate programs who do not obtain fellowships. The initiative is specifically designed to assist students from financially and socially disadvantaged backgrounds during their time at the University. Students are assigned duties in the University Cyber Library after class as part of the initiative. The University plans to broaden the scope of this scheme to cover other University responsibilities. Special consideration is given to female students, who are provided with convenient times.

Hostel Facility:

Central University of Gujarat provides accommodation to its students. The hostel rooms are spacious and well-furnished. The hostel is under 24-hour CCTV and security surveillance. The hostel premises are kept clean and safe by providing a round-the-clock housekeeping service. There is limited hostel housing available for both men and women on a first-come, first-served basis. The hostel fees have been set by the University's policies in general.
