Christ University, formerly called the Christ College is an autonomous institution. Reaccredited by NAAC as A+ this university has been recognized with the Potential for Excellence by the UGC. The selection process at Christ is comprised of two sections. The college prepares a merit list depending upon the marks obtained by students in the CUET (Christ University Entrance Test). Further the screened students are summoned for PI-WAT round where students are judged based on their Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview. The final merit list is prepared by combining 50% weightage of both the entrance test as well as the PI-WAT round. The selection process is quite transparent and unbiased. The finally selected students will further be called for completing the enrolment processes.

Christ university has designed and developed a very convenient fee structure considering the benefits of student community. The fees for UG and PG courses are nominal and can easily be afforded by an average middle class family.
