St Kuriakose Elias Chavara is the co-founder of Christ College - an educationalist and social reformer who was the first person to encourage education in deprived classes of the society. Christ College was established in the year 1969; since then the institution has been continuously taking initiatives for higher education, bringing discipline in academics, imparting holistic education and adapting global practises. In 2008 under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 the ministry of human resource development of government of India declared the institution a Deemed to be University.
Christ University is student opted college to pursue BBA. They accept admissions from all caste, creed, religion and traditions which contribute to students from 60 different nationalities are eager to be a part of this esteemed university.
