Library : Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University's Central Library was established in the first year of the university's establishment. This library structure holds over four lakh textbooks spread across a space of four thousand square meters. It serves around 15,000 students from the university's five colleges as well as instructors, staff members, and researchers who come to do research.
Gandhi Hall, a sizable reference room, is located on the first floor. This section contains excellent reference books such as dictionaries, atlases, directories, bibliographies, yearbooks, guidebooks, maps, atlases, manuals, and statistical sources, among others. On this floor, there is also a research journal section.
Hostel : Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Gorakhpur University hostel is spacious with all basic facilities. There are 5 Boy’s hostel, 2girl’s hostel, and one international hostel. Students are allotted rooms course-wise at the hostel.
Media Center : The Media Centre has been established at Deeksha Bhawan to assist the university's academic vision and goal. It will keep up facilities, supplies, and machinery needed for creating, distributing, and utilizing Instructional media. With all the essential contemporary educational amenities, it will function as a resource center, learning lab, teaching center, service agency, and coordinating agency.
The center will feature a smart instructional classroom, a Photoshop animation and graphics laboratory, a lecture capture studio, and an educational film production studio. There will be a studio, green room, control room, and audio-video mixing room in the educational film production facility.
Green House : The Educational Research Botanical Garden (ERBG), a botanical garden of the university, serves as a site for ex situ plant conservation. It occupies 4.5 hectares of land. It features a glass house, a greenhouse, and a pond with aquatic plants. It also has a medicinal plant garden and a Navgrah vatika. It has a bambusetum, which is home to several bamboo species. It has a large number of rare and endangered plants kept therein, including rare turns, palms, Zamia, Gloriosa, Elaeocarpus (Rudraksh), and Ophioglossum. Along with angiosperms, it has a large number of gymnosperms, Pteridophytes, and bryophytes. It has a 120-year-old banyan tree that lavishly decorates the garden.
Health Centre : From 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, the center offers free medical consultations to university staff and students. University students receive free prescriptions for necessary medications. In addition to offering medical advice, the health center offers medical support for athletic and academic activities (examinations, conferences, etc.). It also offers NCC cadets medical checkup services.
