Dr. C.V. Raman University, Chhattisgarh's first private university, was formed on November 3, 2006, and officially opened on October 14, 2007. It is situated on a vast 55-acre plot in the tribal community of Kota, District Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, with excellent amenities. Throughout the years, the institution has established itself as a centre for research and higher education in subjects such as engineering, management, arts, science, education, law, and information technology. The institution got started following its approved status and laws with the 2007-08 academic year.
