Diploma Courses

Diploma in Education - Special Education (Hearing Impairment) [D.Ed.Spl.Ed.(HI)]

  • Candidates who apply must have passed PUC/12th standard/Pre-Degree or equivalent securing a minimum of 50% marks in any stream from any recognized state or the central board.
  • The programme has a duration of 2 years or 4 semesters and offers a total of 25 seats.
  • Candidates have to pass Online Entrance examination of RCI (AIOAT)

Under Graduate courses

Bachelor of Audiology Speech Language Pathology (BASLP):

  • Pass in 12th / PUC / Equivalent examination.
  • Minimum 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry and one among Biology / Mathematics / Computer Science / Statistics / Electronics / Psychology.
  • Applicants shall not be older than 30 years
  • The course has a duration 4 academic years including 1 year of internship and should be completed within six years from the date of admission.

B.Sc. (Honors) Psychology

  • Pass in 12th / PUC or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • No age bar for application.

B.Sc. (Rehabilitation Science)

  • Pass in 12th / PUC (science stream) or equivalent from a recognized board.
  • No age bar for application.

Post Graduate Courses

M.Sc Audiology

  • B.ASLP / B.Sc. (Speech & Hearing) / BSLPA degree from a University recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
  • Minimum 55% average marks across all years/semesters of the qualifying examination.
  • Relaxation in qualifying marks as per rules of the University/State/Central Government.
  • Applicants shall not be older than 30 years at the time of admission.

M.Sc Speech Language Pathology

  • B.ASLP / B.Sc. (Speech & Hearing) / BSLPA degree from a University recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
  • Minimum 55% aggregate marks across all years/semesters of the qualifying exam.
  • Relaxation in marks as per University/State/Central Government rules.
  • Applicants shall not be older than 30 years at the time of admission.

Ph.D Speech & Hearing:

  • Applications are accepted year-round; processed biannually (January & June).
  • Candidates with UGC-CSIR-NET JRF, ICMR-JRF, or DBT-JRF Category 1 Fellowships are encouraged to apply.
  • One Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is awarded annually, subject to funding approvals.
  • Applicants with JRF status may apply anytime, depending on faculty availability.
  • Admission is based on faculty-conducted interviews.

Post Graduate Diploma

PGDAVT (Post Graduate Diploma Course in Auditory Verbal Therapy):

  • Graduate degree in Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, Speech & Hearing, or Special Education (HI), or an equivalent degree.
  • Must be registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
  • Foreign nationals must provide evidence of professional registration in their home country.
  • Minimum 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • Relaxation in marks for reserved categories as per University rules.
