GD Goenka Aptitude Test for Admission (GATA) is an entrance examination for admission to several undergraduate and postgraduate programmes conducted by GD Goenka University. It is a computer-based test that evaluates a candidate's aptitude, critical thinking, and logical reasoning skills.
GATA has three sections- Analytical & Logical Reasoning, English usage, and Quantitative Aptitude. The English Language section assesses a candidate's language skills and fluency, whilst the Logical Reasoning section assesses their ability to reason rationally and analytically. The Quantitative Aptitude segment examines a candidate's maths skills, while the General Awareness section assesses their awareness of current events and general knowledge.
