GGTU Banswara

Banswara Govind Guru Tribal University previously known as (Rajiv Gandhi Tribal University), was renamed and its headquarters relocated to Banswara, with affiliated institutions in Banswara, Dungarpur, and Pratapgarh.

This is a public university founded by an Act in 2012 and the (Change of Name and Headquarters, and Amendment) Act in 2016. The university's temporary headquarter is in Udaipur. The university's main office is currently located in a rented building. In the area provided to it, the university building and institutes will be built soon.

The university's primary mission is to provide higher education, research, innovation, and development. It also seeks to instill innovative knowledge, improve employment skills, and foster acceptable attitudes among the bright young generation in preparation for the reconstruction of society based on the deeply held values of a functional democracy. The institution is dedicated to offering high-quality, meaningful education to students for their current academic demands as well as their bright future.

GGTU Banswara courses cover a wide range of subjects at the UG, PG, PG diploma, and Ph.D. levels. Engineering and technology, sciences, arts, business administration, law, hotel management, yoga, and other fields are included. Admission at Govind Guru Tribal University for UG and PG degrees is currently open for 2023. Candidates interested in GGTU B.Tech courses can apply on the university's website.

Admission to PG courses at GGTU Banswara such as MA, M.Sc, LLM, and MBA is based on the candidate's performance in the previous qualifying exam. Admission to other PG diplomas and diploma courses at GGTU Banswara is also based on previous qualifying examination performance. The RET (Research Examination Test) is used for granting admission to Ph.D. programs at GGTU.

The Govind Guru Tribal University cut-off list will be released for all undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs. As a result, candidates seeking admission to GGTU Banswara need to know the scores and ranks they have to obtain in order to be admitted to the chosen GGTU UG and PG programs. When the latest cut-off is officially notified, we will update it accordingly.

Several workshops and seminars on soft skills training, personality development, and self-motivation are conducted by the GGTU placement cell. It also organizes placement camps, guest lecture training, and other activities.

The T&P cell of Govind Guru Tribal University Banswara is constantly developing and improving its students' leadership, managerial, technical, and soft abilities. The placement cell of GGTU Banswara consists of students as well as senior faculty members as coordinators, also known as the placement team, who interact with industries, organizations, universities, and MNCs to facilitate a placement drive on the campuses of the affiliated college for job opportunities with high-end packages based on their aspirations and skills.

Govind Guru Tribal University Hostel

Govind Guru Tribal University provides hostel facilities to its students. The hostel rooms are spacious and well-furnished and Wi-Fi connected. The hostel premises is monitored by CCTV and safety surveillance cameras around the clock. A round-the-clock housekeeping service keeps the hostel rooms clean and safe.
