More than 900 students are enrolled in various undergraduate and graduate programs at the university's campus, which is located within the expansive and lush greenery of GSFC Township. These programs include B.Sc. in Chemistry and Biotechnology, BBA, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering - Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML), IOT & Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Management, and Fire, Safety. To promote interdisciplinary education, the university has implemented the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), which will give students a variety of options for taking courses that interest them.
To provide real-world experience across all of its streams, GSFC University consistently adopts a distinctive Medical College model. The necessary Foundation Course is something all first-year students must do to ensure a seamless transition into the higher education system as well as to learn a variety of soft skills that are important for any job. All students must do a one-month industrial internship starting in the second year during each break between semesters.
GSFC University was established by the GSFC Education Society, a project of Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd, a 60-year-old industrial giant, to carry on the company's legacy of providing the community with a variety of services. It is recognized under the Gujarat Private University (Second Amendment) Act, 2014. The goal of establishing this unique university is to advance society through contemporary knowledge in emerging fields of professional growth. To meet the changing needs of the industry, the course curriculum was created using the "5C" design principles: compact, contemporary, cutting-edge, customized, and collaborative.
