IIFT Entrance Exam is necessary and students has to appear in the online entrance exam as per the schedule. To enrol herestudents need to first fill the application form, affix passport size photo, along with it they need to write an essay in about 250 words stating their reason to attend the programme and why IIFT. The application from cost 1000/-. After that they will receive a user ID and password for the online entrance test along with model questions and guidelines for the exam. Date of the exam will be sent through mail/SMS/phone call.

IIFT Admission Process includes marks scored in the qualifying examination, online entrance test and first-come-first-serve basis which is subject to the availability of seats.

Eligibility Criteria

• For B.Sc in Fashion and Apparel Design, applicants need to qualify PUC/10+2 in any discipline
• For 3rd semester (lateral entry), requirement for admission is 3-year diploma in ADFT/Textiles/handlooms/costume design & fashion
• For PG Diploma/ Diploma in Fashion communication & Fashion Journalism, the minimum admission requirement is 10th pass and good communication
• Post graduate Diploma in Fashion Designing Management requires to qualify degree in any stream
• Master of Fashion Management admission requires Bachelors’ degree in any stream
• IIFT Selection Criteria for Diploma in Fashion Design & Boutique Management Course is to 10th standard/ SSLC qualification
• For Certificate in Pattern Making and Draping minimum requirements is 10th standard or SSLC pass out
• Admission requirement for Certificate in Advance Fashion Designing and Illustration, required criteria is that candidate should have basic knowledge of illustration and designing.
• Weekend Diploma in Fashion Designing & Boutique Management requirement for admission 10th/ SSLC pass.
