The International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIITB), was established in 1998 with the goal of contributing to the world of information technology through teaching and research, entrepreneurship, and innovation. • As per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2022, the IIIT, Bangalore has been ranked 81st in the Engineering category in the country.
• According to India Today's August 2021 edition, the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore is ranked first among India's private technical universities.
• In the August 2021 edition, it was ranked 8th overall among Engineering universities, and in the August 2020 edition, it was placed 10th in the same category.
• The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked the International Institute of Information Technology in Bangalore 62nd among engineering colleges in 2020.
