The department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka conducts the PUC certification exams or PUC Board Karnataka. This exam is very important as it a determining gateway for the students to pursue higher/ professional education. On an average speculation, nearly seven Lakh students appear for the 2nd PUC Karnataka exams every year. The 2nd PUC exam is equivalent to intermediate or 10+2 level. Karnataka PUC Board Name is KSSEEB, Karnataka State Secondary Education Examination Board which is a state education board in the Indian state of Karnataka. The Karnataka state conducts examination at the end of the second year of PUC for university admissions. PU offers three streams including Science, Commerce & Arts. The candidates will have to fill the Karnataka PUC Application Form in the 2nd PUC in order to register their names for the board exams. It is advised to fill the application form under the guidance of school authorities. The authority will provide one user ID and password to the students for logging in and completing the application form for Karnataka 2nd PUC. Students will have to fill in all the details such as name, school code, parent's name, permanent address, photo, digital signature etc. Once the application form is filled, students are expected to submit the same and take a printout of it for future references.

The KSSEEB conducts the Karnataka PUC exam every year. For the current year, the exams for 2nd PUC were conducted from March 4, 2020 to March 23, 2020 with the English paper conducted on June 18, 2020. Candidates appearing for the exam can check the time table as well. The exams are conducted from 10:15 AM to 1:30 PM on specific days of exams. Students are supposed to report 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time. The PUC exam is held in offline mode. Students will not be allowed to sit for the exams without a valid admit card/ hall ticket.

The PUC College Fees in Bangalore varies from one to another depending upon number of parameters like infrastructure, facilities etc. Some of the PU colleges are a bit expensive in Karnataka due to their infrastructural facilities. The department of pre-university examination of Karnataka state declares the 2nd PUC results every year. The tentative date for Karnataka PUC Results is yet to be notified. The students will be allowed to access their results thereafter. The percentages of qualifying students have been satisfactorily good with 59.56% in 2018 and 61.73% in 2019.
