The Karnataka state conducts an examination at the end of the second year of PUC for university admissions. PU offers three streams including Science, Commerce & Arts. Any student desiring to study professional courses in Karnataka must pass the science stream of this exam through the common entrance test of the state. This change has been made to filter out the low-scoring students while improving the overall average score in the Karnataka PUC Exam.

The students are eligible to choose specialist or professional programs like Nursing, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Engineering, Medicine and others, once they qualify for the 2nd PUC with the science stream. Students can also enroll in the courses of core sciences like B.Sc.

Karnataka PUC Application Form

Details about filling PUC Application Form

  • The candidates will have to fill out the Karnataka PUC Application Form in the 2nd PUC in order to register their names for the board exams.
  • It is advised to fill out the application form under the guidance of school authorities.
  • The authority will provide one user ID and password to the students for logging in and completing the application form for Karnataka 2nd PUC.
  • Students will have to fill in all the details such as name, school code, parent's name, permanent address, photo, digital signature etc.
  • Once the application form is filled, students are expected to submit the same and take a printout of it for future references.

Karnataka PUC Exam

The KSSEEB conducts the Karnataka PUC exam every year. For the current year, the exams for 2nd PUC theory exam will be conducted on from 1st to 22nd March 2024. Candidates appearing for the exam can check the time table as well. Students are supposed to report 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time. The PUC exam is held in offline mode. Students will not be allowed to sit for the exams without a valid admit card/ hall ticket.

Karnataka PUC Results

The 2nd PUC result 2024 is released on April 10, 2024 Students can check the official website karresults.nic.in. Students have to enter their registration number to view the 2nd PUC result 2024. Further, the hard copies/marks card of the PUC result 2024 will be made available for collection from schools later. More than 7 lakh students appeared for Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam 2024.

The Karnataka Board Class 2 Examination results can be accessed through the result Link Available on the official website. Students who have previously appeared for the exam can also check the results through the official website as well.
The Application forms for the supplementary examination will be released within a month post the declaration Of the Karnataka Board Class 12 Results 2024. Those students who wish to improve their scores can apply for the Supplementary exams then.
They will be conducted a month after the results Declaration for the Board exams.
They would be eligible for undergraduate admissions provided they appear for the Supplementary Exams and clear the papers in the first attempt.
A minimum of 75% of attendance of the total classes conducted in individual subjects is compulsory.
They should get readmitted to the concerned class in the subsequent year and study. They should have 75% of attendance as stated above.

Whenever a marks card is lost a complaint has to be lodged in a nearby police station with due acknowledgment. Then an affidavit is to be sworn before a Notary about the loss of marks card and promise to return the same if it is traced. Thereafter the candidate has to submit a request for issue of a Duplicate Marks card through the principal of the college in the prescribed format along with a fee of Rs 1,000/- paid through challan
The number which is there in the caste certificate and said number start with the letters “RD” and continues with numeric numbers.
