The KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) is going to conduct the counseling for KCET 2024 in online mode. The candidates are required to register first in order to participate in the counseling of KCET 2024. While registering, the candidates will have to fill in the choice of college and the concerned course for admission. The KCET authority will conduct 2 rounds of KCET 2024 counseling along with a second extended round and one special round of counseling.The commencement for counseling and verification of documents is yet to be notified. For the admissions to different colleges in Bangalore through KCET, counseling is must to procure a seat of choice depending upon rank and qualifications. The qualified candidates will be eligible to apply for the counseling and is a mandatory process to get admissions in the colleges of Karnataka. The process starts with the verification of documents and KCET 2024 registration.
Further, the students are required to visit the website and enter required credentials to update the institution and course preference. Before entering your choice, look for the seat matrix provided course-wise and institution-wise. After filling up your choices, you can lock the list of preferences.
After the filling and locking of preferred courses in preferred institution, a mock seat allotment list is released on the official website of KEA. This mock list allows the students to understand the courses they can get in certain institutions based on their rank in KCET Counseling. The students are also allowed to make changes in their choice if needed and later 3 sessions of counseling are held and if the candidates are satisfied, they can take the provisional allotment letter to the concerned institution to confirm their seat by paying the required admission fees.
For KCET 2024, more than 200 private colleges, government colleges, universities and state government colleges are going to participate for the intake of students under various undergrad courses offered by them. The candidates are also advised to check the list of participating colleges/ universities, so they can filter out the most suitable one for them depending upon location, KCET Ranking or any other factors important to them.
