A large portion of the credit for that goes to the placement cell known as the Centre for Employability and Corporate Placements.

Placements are a conscious effort from the School of Business to transform young talents who can match the requirements of the recruiters. The various Placement initiatives undertaken are described below.

Summer Internship Program: Every year Summer Internship Program starts in July. The student learns about the Industry, The Company, and Competitors and does a SWOT analysis. This aims to widen the student's perspective by providing exposure to real-life organizations and environmental situations. The recruiters can contact the Talent Transformation Team, Centre for Employment and Corporate Relations during January to finalize the date for SIP Placements.

Campus Recruitment Program: The campus recruitment season starts in October. Recruiters can send the Placement Response Form to CECR for finalizing the dates for Final Placements. Every year companies from diverse sectors visit the Business School for Campus Hiring. Kristu Jayanti College Placement Process

  • The Centre for Employability and Corporate Relations (CECR) has a process and set guidelines to make students more serious about the final placement initiatives.
  • Every student looking for final placements has to submit a Need Analysis Questionnaire and a copy of their profile.
  • Students should compulsorily appear & clear the Aptitude Test paper of CECR to be eligible for final placements.
  • The Centre for Employability and Corporate Relations (CECR) helps students in career planning through career counseling, wherein they gather information about themselves, in terms of their interests, aptitudes, and abilities. This helps them to choose their careers more effectively. The Centre allows individuals to explore the world of employment and helps them to move from a general occupation direction to a specific one.
  • The CECR has put into practice a Career Plan form, through which they will know the exact headcount looking for final placements, going for higher studies (India & Abroad) and planning to become entrepreneurs. Separate training programs follow the Career Plan exercise for students opting for final placements, higher studies and planning to start up their own businesses.
  • The selection process by the company usually starts with a pre-placement talk in which the organization gives the students insight into the company profile, job profile, CTC, etc. followed by the actual selection process of written test/group discussion/interview, etc.
  • The Talent Transformation Team, Centre for Employability and Corporate Relations (CECR) always brings out innovative initiatives, which are aimed to increase employment prospects. Every year, CECR kick starts the Campus Placements by Inaugurating GATE, thereby opening a passage into the placement season. Companies from different verticals visit our campus for final placements, which include sharing the JD with CECR, Pre Placement Talk, Aptitude Test, GD, Technical Interviews and HR Interviews.

Over the past few years, there has been a phenomenal increase in Kristu Jayanti College Admission, due to its continued, high-quality education programs and placement practices. Over the years, there is a big gap when the recruitment processes immediately after the PPT. The students will not be in a position to take the right decision and they miss the clarity and focus. Only around 20 to 30% of the students have clarity regarding their future careers. This mismatch affects the Corporate 2 Campus and Campus 2 Corporate relationship. Finally, there is a huge cost involved.

To overcome this issue, another initiative of the CECR to bridge the gap between C2C by name "UdyogVichaar" with a tagline C2C (Campus 2 Corporate / Corporate 2 Campus) was launched.
