MD Anatomy or Doctor of Medicine in Anatomy is a 3- year non-clinical branch of post graduation that can be pursued after MBBS. This course deals with the structure of human body. The programme will include subjects like:

MD Anatomy Admissions in Karnataka

MD Anatomy Admission Criteria:

  • Candidates should have completed MBBS or any other equivalent subjects like BAMS/ BHMS etc from any recognized medical institute.
  • They should have scored a minimum aggregate 50% - 55% or equivalent CGPA at the level of graduation.
  • They must complete one year of compulsory rotatory internship
  • They must also be registered with MCI or any state medical council.

Students should have completed their bachelors from any institutes which is recognized by:

  • An Act of Central / State Government
  • A Gazette notification of Central / State Government
  • Executive orders issued by Central / State Government

For NRI/ PIO/ OCI:

  • Candidates seeking admission should have obtained their qualification from any recognized board/ university.
  • They must have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration from a recognized University as per program requirement.
  • Those who are holding foreign degree must be registered practitioners in the country from where they have obtained their degree and also must obtain a temporary registration certificate from medical Council of India (MCI).

Admission Process of MD Anatomy:

  • Admission is based on merit list of the entrance test.
  • Most of the colleges conduct counseling
  • Candidates are selected through merit list which will be based on their performance in the exam and the counseling process
