MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell for admission to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy, and pharmacy diploma courses in the colleges of Maharashtra. The test is typically held in May and the application process for MHT CET 2024 is expected to begin in January 2024. The exam is conducted in offline mode for 150 minutes. The test consists of multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology. The MHT CET score is valid for one year only. The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell will announce the result on the official website on 19th June 2024. Based on the scores obtained by the candidates, the merit list is prepared. The merit list is used for counseling and seat allotment. The counseling process is conducted after the declaration of results where candidates have to attend in person to choose their preferred institute and course based on their merit and availability of seats.
