The story of Mount Carmel College, Bangalore began on 7th of July 1948 with just fifty students on its rolls. The college was granted the autonomy status in September 2005, affiliated to Bangalore University. Mount Carmel College was re-accredited with A+ by NAAC in 2006 & was rewarded A grade in its second round of re-accreditation.
Mount Carmel College placement cell trains the students & provides them opportunities to get placed in leading MNC’s banks, educational institutes, biotech firms, etc. Students are provided with career counseling by a professional counselor throughout the year. Apart from this, the students are also given opportunities for internships, part-time jobs and CA Article ships. The MCA students are facilitated to get projects in companies like Fidelity, HP and GSK to name a few.
The placement goal of Mount Carmel College is to increase employability of students, acts as interface between campus & corporate, matches the interest of students with company needs & aids HR with their requirements.
