MS Ayurveda in Karnataka Admission

Admission Process:

The students who want to study Master of Surgery (MS) in Ayurveda should have passed the entrance examinations followed by group discussion and a personal interview, which depends on the particular college. Several institutes also have their own entrance examinations and admission procedures in place for choosing and approving applicants. Afterwards, qualifying applicants would be required to go for further steps of the personal interview as the last step in the process of selection. The written test includes elements of evaluation describing the science of Ayurveda.

Eligibility Criteria to pursue MS Ayurveda:

  • Students should have passed a bachelor's degree in a relevant program with an aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized university.

MS Ayurveda Entrance Exam

  • All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIPGET) is the exclusive entrance examination for admission to Postgraduate AYUSH programs for the educational session 2020-21.
  • It covers All India (Open/other States) and State quota seats for admission to MD / MS / PG DIPLOMA Ayurveda Courses, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy system of medicine for all AYUSH Colleges

How to apply?

  • Students are allowed to apply through online mode only.
  • One must visit the official website of NTA website www.ntaaiapget.nic.in.
  • They are permitted to submit only one application form
  • Should follow the instruction and the students who are not grasping the instructions shall be immediately disqualified.
  • Candidates must give their own email and mobile number as all data/ information will be sent by NTA through email.

Instructions to be reflected while filling the application form:

Understand and follow the 4 steps given below to apply online:

Step-1: Apply for Online Registration using different Email Id and Mobile Number.

Step-2: Fill in the Online Application Form and enter down the system generated Application Number.

Step-3: Upload scanned pictures of the candidate’s photograph (between 20 kb - 50 kb) and candidate’s Signature (between 10 kb - 20 kb) in JPG/ JPEG format.

Step-4: Pay the fee using ICICI/Syndicate/Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI/ Paytm and keep evidence of fee paid.

If the confirmation page is not generated following payment of fee then the transaction is failed, and the amount will be returned to the candidate’s account. However, the applicant has to do another transaction.

Download, save and print copies of Confirmation Page after successful remittance of fee and keep copies safely for future reference. All 4 Steps can be done together or at separate times.

  • Candidates are asked to visit the NTA website and check their emails/ SMS regularly for the latest updates
  • The applicant should arrive at their own expense at the examination place on the date and shift designated on their admit card issued by the NTA.
  • Any appeal to turn the Examination Centre, Date and subject given on the Admit Card shall not be reconsidered under any conditions.
