BDS Degree Programme is offered by Faculty of Dental Sciences and it has a board of studies for various courses. The Dean of the Faculty takes the responsibilities and has a team of faculty members under his Chairmanship. The Board of Studies also take suggestions from external academic experts and consultants circulated by Dental Council of India. After making the curriculum it is submitted to Academic Council for its approval, and then only it can be offered by the University. Once in at least 5 years the entire program is reviewed by the BoS to get approval of the Academic Council. Before delivering the course BoS reviews the course notes prepared by the members of the Faculty for every course. There is a course leader who delivers and assesses students undergoing those courses.

The Faculty of Dental Sciences also offers Certificate programmes in Esthetic Dentistry and Oral Implantology and a Doctoral research programme which gives a Ph.D. on the successful completion of the course.
The college also has an attached dental hospital with more than 200 dental chairs with laboratories and other facilities for providing clinical services. Students are well trained in this hospital and also the attached hospitals in rural and rural areas around Bangalore. All over there are 75 members of faculty and all of them are well trained in research and development. Their journals and papers are published in more than 50 papers and reputed journals. The Faculty also has an active dental education which supports innovation in medical education. There are also around 400 students. The hospital also provides special care clinics for geriatric care, handicapped children, oral cancer patients, tobacco cessation centre etc.
