M S Ramaiah is one of the best medical colleges in Bangalore. MSRMC was ranked as 12th in All India Ranking of Medical colleges by National Institute Ranking Framework and 16th amongst all medical colleges in India by India Today.
MSRMC promotes academic research across faculty and student levels to create an atmosphere of investigation and learning.
As part of RMC’s exchange and collaboration initiatives, foreign students visit the campus every year. Along with campus exposure, they get an opportunity to be a part of the Community Orientation Programme (COP), through which they get a 360-degree view of living conditions in rural as well as urban communities, common diseases and the local culture in India.
Ramaiah Medical College also focuses on sharing awareness and knowledge of better health across larger sections of society. Their efforts are led by the Department of Community Medicine at RMC and the Medical College Hospital.
Apart from ongoing research and training of students to be sensitive to all strata of society, we strive to contribute to the community through our outreach programmes. Students, interns, PG residents and faculty together drive these initiatives in our field practice areas, emphasizing the need for prevention, not just cure.
