MH CET Law Counselling

Mumbai University Common Law Entrance Test (MU CLET) which is now replaced with MH CET Law is a state level exam conducted by University of Mumbai for admission to the three-year LLB and five-year integrated LLB program at colleges affiliated with Mumbai University. The results for the MH CET Law are usually declared a few weeks after the exam is conducted.

The results typically include the following details:

  • Total marks scored by the candidate
  • Section-wise marks (i.e. marks obtained in each section of the exam)
  • All India rank (AIR) of the candidate
  • Cut-off marks for various categories

Counselling

The Mumbai University Common Law Entrance Test (MH CET Law) counselling process is a multi-step process that begins after the declaration of the results. The counselling process involves the following steps:

  • Candidates who pass the MH CET Law exam need to register for the counselling process. Registration is usually done online on the official website of Mumbai University.
  • Candidates are required to physically present themselves at the designated counselling centre for document verification. They need to carry all the originals and photocopies of their relevant documents (mark sheets, certificates, etc.) for verification.
  • After the document verification, candidates can log in to their accounts and fill in their preferences for law colleges and courses.
  • Based on the candidates' preferences, merit and availability of seats, the authorities will allot seats to the eligible candidates.
  • Candidates who are allotted a seat need to report to the allotted college and complete the admission formalities.

The result is generally announced within one month after the exam is conducted.
