MVJ Medical College UG Courses

The only undergraduate course program offered by MVJ Medical College is MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery).

The duration of the course is 4 ½ years which is further divided into 3 phases.

• The first year comprises of Pre Clinical Subjects of Human Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry.
• The second year consists of 3 semesters (i.e. 1 ½ years) dedicated to para clinical (Pharmacology, Pathology, Toxicology, Forensic Medicine and Microbiology) and a number of clinical subjects.
• Phase 3 includes the following subjects:
• Community Medicine and Clinical Subjects
• Medicine and its allied specialties (Psychiatry, Dermatology, Radio Diagnosis, TB and CD, Paediatrics and Anesthesiology)
• Surgery and its linked specialties (Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT and Dentistry)

The post graduate courses offered by MVJ Medical College include Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and PG Diploma Programs under several specializations as summarized below.
