The exam is conducted in a computer-based mode for 3 hours. As per the exam pattern, 240 multiple-choice questions will be asked, 4 marks will be awarded for every right answer but 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. No other entrance exam will be accepted except NEET–MDS for MDS admission, hence clearing NEET– MDS is mandatory for the candidates interested in doing a master's in dentistry.
