As there are lots of confusion being raised among the students regarding the admission for BA LLB (Hons.), NLSIU has uploaded a notice to clarify the queries on its official website- “The university will not accept CLAT 2020 scores for admission to academic year 2020-21”.
The decision was taken in the view of repetitive postponement of CLAT 2020 exam due to the pandemic outbreak of COVID-19. Students seeking admission to NLSIU must apply directly to the university and complete the NLAT UG 2020 Entrance Exam. The total intake for BA LLB (Hons.) is 120.
As per the official notice- “If NLSIU is unable to complete admissions before the end of September 2020, it will inevitably result in a Zero Year with no admission”.
The admission to one-year LLM program offered by NLSIU will also be conducted through NLAT PG 2020 Entrance Exam. The LLM specializations and their intake capacity are listed below-
