Master of Computer Applications (MCA): The Department of MCA in BMSIT was started in the academic year 2003-04 with an approved intake of 60 students. It has a team of well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members. Computer laboratories are equipped with high-end computers, servers and installed with necessary licensed software. The department has state-of-the-art facilities. Students of the department bagged the 2nd and the 5th ranks in the VTU examinations for the year 2012. M.E/ M.Tech in Manufacturing Science: This is a 4-semester course with a major focus on advances and practical aspects of manufacturing engineering. The courses are designed such that the students get an opportunity to be ready for industrial jobs as well as to pursue higher studies at institutes of higher learning abroad.
