PESIT Entrance Exam

The process to register for the PESIT Bangalore, Entrance Exam PESSAT is as below:

  • Candidates need to be careful while filling in the online application form as any errors / false entries will result in cancellation of their candidature.
  • In Part 1 section, select the course you want to apply for , enter the applicant name, gender, date of Birth, email id, click on edit /Confirm, once done, personal details will appear on the bottom of the screen.
  • Next in Part 2, select candidate blood group, nationality, religion, caste category, mother tongue, citizenship, family size, place of birth, physical disability details ( if any), communication address, permanent address, landline & mobile numbers, parent information, details of the last qualifying examination, PUC marks, specialization branch, whether Karnataka or non- Karnataka resident , 3 Test Centre preferences, accept Declaration part & submit. As a last step, upload your photograph.
  • In Part 3, you need to click confirm after uploading photograph, then you will get payment details page.
  • In Part 4 section, you need to update details of PESSAT registration fee payment details.
  • Lastly in Part 5 you can take a printout of the filled application form

The duration of the PESIT Bangalore Entrance Exam is 180 minutes & it is in turn divided into 2 sections. Section 1 has questions from 11th & 12th Std CBSE Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry subjects. Section 2 will have 20 questions from English grammar. Students also need to note that there is no negative marking in PESSAT. For BTech counseling, PESIT considers the PESSAT rank which is generated based on the PESSAT score of the candidate. Also, even if the candidate is seeking admission through management/ NRI/Higher fee quota, he or she has to still appear for either CET or PESSAT.

The candidate needs to pay a fee of Rs 1050/ to register for PESSAT. This fees can be paid either via online payment methods like credit/ debit card/ Net Banking or through submission of hard copy of application along with a copy of bank paid, stamped challan. Candidates can also remit the maount through Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favor of “PES University General Fund”, payable at Bangalore. To process this method, candidate has to procure the DD from the bank, enter DD details in the space provided online, and send it alongwith the printed application form to Manager Admissions, Office of Admissions, PES University Bangalore.
