The INTERNATIONAL EUROPEAN SCIENCE AWARD was presented to Dr. HARISH PADH, VICE CHANCELLOR of Sardar Patel University. In 2012, he was chosen to receive the distinguished scientific prize presented jointly by the European Business Assembly, Europe's largest General Scientific Meeting - the Euroscience Open Forum (ESOF), and the European Club of Rectors (Deans and Provosts). The award was presented at the Euroscience Open Forum meeting in Dublin, Ireland, from July 11 to 15, 2012.

Dr Padh received the NAME IN SCIENCE award for his contributions to Science, Technology, and Education. "Brilliant Scientific Career joined with Fruitful Professional and Social Activities made you well known outside your country and ranked you among the world's intellectual elite," according to the award citation for Dr. Padh.
