The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a common entrance test conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) for admission to undergraduate programs at its affiliated institutes in India. The test assesses the candidate's aptitude and ability in the subject areas of English, general awareness, analytical and logical reasoning, and quantitative aptitude. To be eligible for the SET exam, candidates must qualify 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate mark and also those who are appearing for their 10+2 examination can also apply, but they must submit their final result at the time of admission.

After the announcement of SET result, for various undergraduate courses offered by its affiliated institution, Symbiosis International University (SIU) publishes the SET ranking and cut-off. The ranking which is based on the candidate's performance in the exam is used to determine their eligibility for admission to the preferred course. The cutoff marks are the minimum marks required for candidates to qualify for admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses in agriculture.
