SNAP Syllabus 2021

SNAP Syllabus is not predefined but is based on the previous year question papers and current structure of the exam.

It has 3 sections:

  • General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability
  • Analytical & Logical Reasoning
  • Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency.

SNAP Exam Syllabus for Quantitative Section includes mathematical knowledge and calculation. The syllabus of SNAP test is not much different from other popular MBA entrance exams.

The test basically accesses the aptitude skills of a candidate for management programmes. it will be computer based test which is of 120 minutes.

What Is SNAP Exam Selection Procedure:

  • Candidates will be selected for further admission process (GE-PIWAT) based on her/his overall exam Percentile.
  • Further admission process is conducted separately for each programme by each Institute.
  • They should check the respective Institute website for information and dates of GE-PIWAT
  • Based on a candidate's percentage, they may get shortlisted for more than one programme.
  • In such the candidates s expected to participate in the GE-PIWAT for each programme separately.

To Note:

  • It is important to all GE-PIWAT tests to be eligible for admission to any PG programme.
  • Only the candidate who attends all tests of selection process (GE-PIWAT) shall be considered as eligible for generation of merit / wait / reject list.
  • Candidates who will not be present for any one of the test will be considered as ineligible for selection process of any of the MBA programmes of SIU.

The candidate must have passed their bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% of marks.
After the registration process, one should pay a fee and fill the application form.
The registration fee for the exam is Rs. 1750.

The typical term for SNAP preparation 6 months to 1 year and also it depends on the individual.
The exam date has now been published and SNAP 2021 will not be paused due to COVID-19.
They get 5% relaxation in the marks.
Yes. Institutes will publish the cut-off for access to their particular MBA program before the declaration of the SNAP exam result.
Yes. Snap releases the answer key before the result declaration.
The exam is on 20-Dec-2021, 06-Jan-2022, 09-Jan-2022.
