Soundarya College of Law Admission

Soundarya Law College Admission is taken care of by the admission office. The admission procedure is very transparent and methodical. The regulations laid by the Karnataka State Law University govern the admission procedure of any law course of the college. Candidates interested in seeking admission to any of the law courses offered by the college must meet the eligibility criteria. Admission is strictly based on the merit list. It declares the merit list based on the marks scored in the qualifying examination. The institute also offers scholarships to meritorious students to help them achieve their dreams. Soundarya Law College also follows reservations guidelines under various state and central government policies.

Admission Procedure

A candidate must qualify at least one of the entrance tests conducted for law admission. Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and Law School Admission Council, USA (LSAT) are entrance examination held every year for students interested in pursuing a career in law. All law schools and colleges accept applications with the scores secured in these entrance tests. The exam dates are generally in the month of May and applications are invited before April every year.

Eligibility Criteria

  • For B.A LL.B and B.Com LL.B admissions, candidates should have appeared or qualified 10+2 from a recognized board or institution.
  • A candidate should have scored a minimum 45% marks in 10+2. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are given a relaxation in the minimum of qualifying marks.
  • For LL.B admission, candidates should have appeared or qualified 10+2+3 from a recognized board or university.
  • Minimum qualifying marks in 10+2+3 is 45% for general category. SC/ST can apply if the minimum mark obtained is 40%.
  • Candidates whose results are awaited will be given admission only if they qualify the minimum eligibility criteria.
  • Candidates seeking admission in LL.B should not be more than 30 years of age. For candidates belonging to SC/ST category,the age should not be more than 35 years

Shortlisted students will be called for around of personal interview. Final merit list will be declaredbased on the academic record, marks scored in the entrance tests and personal interview performance. The management of Soundarya Educational Trust will have the last and final say with regards to the admission.

Soundarya Law College offers 3-Year LL.B and 5-Year B.A.LL.B & B.Com.LL.B Courses.
The candidate must have completed 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board.
