The skamc admission is taken by students who are interested to make their career in Ayurveda. Every year many students get admission into the college. As there is very limited intake so there is high competition for getting admission into the college.

Eligibility Criteria:

To get admission into the college students should have passed the 12th or two year PUC examination from the PUC education board, Bangalore. Any other examination from a recognized board or a equivalent one with English as one of the languages and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects with minimum of 50% of marks in the aggregate of the relevant Science subjects (Physics, chemistry and Biology of the 12th /Second year PUC examination only). However in the case of students belonging to SC/ST the minimum requirements in percentage of marks for admission to the first BAMS Course is relaxed by 10% marks.

The foreign students who want to get admission into kalabyraveshwara courses of Ayurveda the University recognizes the basic qualification of that country or the student submits as equivalent certificate from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. An eligibility certificate should be obtained from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. There should be a specific mention of the subject 'English' in the marks sheet. As per the guidelines of the university, just 'Foreign Language' mentioned in the marks sheet may not be sufficient for eligibility. As per prevalent norms all Non-Karnataka applicants who seek admission for the BAMS should obtain the 'ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATE' issued by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, Bangalore.
