A student is only eligible to give the entrance tests in the same year she or he are sitting for their board examinations or in some cases until they reach the age limit(which varies based on different colleges)
Correspondence courses are not really recognized by the bar Council of India so a student would ideally need to check if the course they are considering is eligible.

Class X level mathematics questions are asked in the law entrance exams which to be honest is quite simple.
It is mandatory for any candidate to appear for CLAT in order to pursue a BA LLB course, however there is no such requirement present for LLB.
For Class XI/XII pass outs the 5 year integrated LLB program and is widely preferred.
