MBBS Admission - India

The only way to get into medical colleges in India is through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET in short. Separate tests are carried out for postgraduate and undergraduate level programs. MBBS Course in India in India has the highest demand among all the graduate level medical programs. Private colleges are required to maintain a 15% all India Quota. They also have private and management quotas.

Eligibility Criteria for the graduate Medical programs:

  • Students need to secure at least 50% in 12th from a recognized board with physics, biology/zoology, chemistry and English as mandatory subjects.
  • Students from backward sections are provided with a relaxation in subject percentages in line with the rules set by the Government of India.
