TS EAMCET Ranking

The ranking and cutoff for the TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test) are very important in deciding the admission procedure for different undergraduate programmes in the state of Telangana. Following the completion of the exam, the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) publishes a merit list based on the candidates' results in the TS EAMCET. Tie-breaking criteria are used to determine the candidates' ranks when two or more candidates receive the same score. The following criteria, in the following sequence, are used to break ties:

Candidates who scored higher marks in Mathematics/Biology are given priority.
If the tie still exists, candidates who scored higher marks in Physics will be given preference.
If there is still a tie, the total marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) are considered and higher marks will lead to a better rank.
In the event that a tie is still unbreakable, the older candidate (based on date of birth) is given preference.
