TS POLYCET 2023 Application

The process for applying for the (TS POLYCET) entrances exam will include the following step-by-step process which the candidates will have to follow in order to successfully register for the exam

It is necessary that the individuals at the time of the application process should make sure that they read the instructions mentioned on each page thoroughly and carry out the steps properly without making any mistakes. The detail of the steps is briefed below.

Registration Process

  • Candidates have to apply for the POLYCET entrance exam in online mode using the following link www.polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in
  • Once you open the website, click on the registration option and start filling in the details.
  • Verify your mobile number with the OTP sent after entering the registration details.
  • To your registered mobile number an SMS with the Registration number and password will be sent.

    • Log in Process

  • Login using the Registration number and password to access the POLYCET Application.

    • Application filling Process

    Fee Payment

  • After login in, click on the Pay Now option.
  • Proceed with the payment by selecting the payment gateway and making the payment.
  • Click on the Fill Application once the payment is successful.
  • Click on Get Details after entering your details on the application form.
  • Click on the Next option after entering your communication details.
  • Then enter your Category details and click on the next option.
  • Enter the Special Category information and then click Next.
  • Enter the Exam Center Details and then click the "Next" button.
  • To proceed, enter your Study Details and click the "Next" button.
  • And then click on "Save & Preview” after successfully uploading your photo and signature.
  • Afterwards, click on "Generate Hall Ticket" to download your Hall Ticket for the Entrance Exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Diploma Courses in Polytechnic offered by SBTET Courses offered by PJTSAU AND SKLTSHU Veterinary Courses Offered by PVNRTVU Horticultural Courses Offered by SKLTSH
  • The applicant should be an Indian Citizen.
  • The candidate should be a resident of the State of Telangana /Andhra Pradesh
Participants must have passed the S.S.C. Examination conducted by the State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, or any equivalent examination recognized by the respective board, including CBSE, ICSE, NIOS, TOSS, APOSS, or any State Board with Mathematics as one of the subjects, with a minimum of 35% marks.
Candidates from NIOS/TOSS/APOSS/CBSE/ICSE/other equivalent examinations recognized by Telangana State must have passed all subjects, including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, with a minimum of 35% marks in each subject.

There are no age restrictions Candidates must be at least 15 years old as of the year of admission, with a maximum age of 22 years as of December 31, 2023.
Students who are yet to appear or already appeared for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March/April-2023 and whose results are not yet declared are also eligible to apply. Candidates must submit a duly filled and signed FORM-I, certifying a minimum of four years of study in Non-Municipal area schools from first to tenth grade (any four years) by the Head of the Institution. Failure to provide the properly filled and signed form will lead to claim rejection.

Note: For Veterinary and Horticultural Courses Offered by SKLTSH & PVNRTVU the applicants having a higher education (10+2 or higher) is not eligible to take the exam.

Hall Ticket

  • Check the hall ticket carefully. If any mistakes are found report immediately to the coordinating centre for a revised one.
  • Ensure accurate data and a valid photo on the hall ticket; as incorrect information may lead to disqualification.
  • If you have not got your hall ticket, you can obtain one by visiting www.polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in.
  • Remember that the hall ticket is non-transferable, and modification with it will result in disqualification. Carry your printed hall ticket to the exam centre and utilize the SBTETTS mobile app (android) to find your location.
