Results

The TS POLYCET results are expected to be released approximately fifteen days following the test date. The rank card will be released within a few weeks from the date of the declaration of results. The participants can download their rank card from the official website using the following website link www.polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.

Counselling

For those candidates who qualify for the entrance exam, the TS POLYCET counselling procedure is important. It is organized by the Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training and allows candidates to choose and get admission to their selected diploma courses and institutes. Counselling consists of several rounds based on rank order, and candidates can select courses based on seat availability. It is critical to be well-prepared and to have the relevant documentation. Following seat selection, candidates must submit documents for verification and pay fees to be admitted. The counselling process ensures that seats are allocated fairly and transparently, allowing students to make informed decisions about their academic future.

The counselling process will take place in two-phase - The first Phase and Final Phase

First Phase

In the first phase of the counselling process, the candidates have to undergo the following

• Online form filling of basic information
• Payment of Processing Fee
• Slot Booked for Certificate Verification
• Exercising Options
• Freezing of options
• Allotment of seats

Final Phase

During the Final Phase, eligible applicants who have not participated in previous phases may attend Certificate Verification and exercise options. Candidates who have already participated in the First Phase Counselling may use their old password and Login ID to exercise alternatives for the remaining seats and consequential vacancies that may arise according to the schedule. It is recommended to exercise options just for interested Polytechnics, considering that vacancies in the selected course are available.

Who is eligible to take part in the final phase of counselling

• Those who have already secured a seat but are not interested in joining.
• Whose certificates have been verified but not yet secured a seat.
• Candidates who have completed certificate verification but have not exercised options yet.
• Individuals who have secured a seat, self-reported but seeking a better option.
• Candidates in the NCC and Sports categories whose credentials were validated during the First Phase of counselling must participate in the Final Phase and exercise options in order to be eligible for NCC and Sports category seats.
• If any other eligible candidates are also eligible.

Documents required to be submitted for verification

Along with the original documents two sets of Xerox copies should also be produced

• TSPOLYCET-2023 Rank Card.
• Aadhar Card.
• S.S.C or its equivalent Marks memo.
• IV to X Study Certificates.
• Transfer Certificate (T.C). Income Certificate issued on or after 01-01-2023 by the competent authority, if applicable.
• EWS Income and Asset Certificate issued by the Tahsildar valid for the year 2023- 24, if applicable.
• Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
• Residence Certificate of a candidate for a period of 7 years preceding to qualifying examination in case where the candidate has no institutionalized education.
• Minorities: SSC TC containing Minority Status or Certificate from the Head Master.
• In respect of Non-Local candidates to consider them for allotment under unreserved seats the following certificates need to be submitted.
• Residence Certificate
• Employer Certificate
• Certificates to be produced by PHC/CAP/NCC/Sports (SG)/Anglo – Indian (ANG)
• PHC, CAP (Children of Armed Forces Personnel), NCC (National Cadet Corps), Sports (SG), Anglo-Indian (ANG)
