Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test ( UPCET ), previously known as UPSEE, is an entrance test for admissions into various professional degree programs like Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Architecture, etc. It is a state-level entrance test and the conducting authority is AKTU ( Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh ).
UPCET is now replaced by JEE Mains, CUET PG, and NATA. Candidates have to clear the respective exams for admission into AKTU and its affiliated colleges through UPCET 2023. In the case of UPCET 2023 admissions, candidates have to take JEE Mains, NATA, and CUET PG for admission into their respective courses. So, the general procedure that applies to all entrance exams to download the admit card includes,

UPCET 2023 is a Computer Based Test (CBT ) for two hours ( 3 hrs -based on the course). The entrance test for UG courses and Integrated MBA/MCA is both in English and Hindi. Whereas, for PG courses, the entrance test is only in English. The question paper is of an Objective type and over 75-150 questions are asked based on the course. There is no negative marking and candidates will be rewarded with four marks for every correct answer.

Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test ( UPCET ) merit list will be released once the results are announced. The results and rank list will not be mailed but will be available online. The rank list is in PDF format, and candidates can print it for future reference. The cut-off marks are not the same and each college affiliated under AKTU will have separate cut-off marks.

After the results, the Counseling Process or the Centralised Allotment Process begins. The dates for the counseling process and the selection status of the candidates will all be available on the official website of AKTU. The rank- list consists of the candidate's name, rank, category, caste, date of birth, roll number, test mark, and total mark.
