 Eligibility for all engineering courses :


  •  Applicants need to be of a minimum age of 17 years to enroll for the BE program.

  •  Pass in Karnataka 2nd Pre University / 12th Standard or equivalent examination with Physics & Mathematics alongwith Chemistry/ Bio technology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects & should have obtained at least 45% in the optional subjects.

  •  Candidates seeking admission Bangalore Engineering colleges also need to have appeared in any of the below entrance tests: for Karnataka domiciled candidates, candidates need to have cleared the KARNATAKA EXAMINATION AUTHORITY (KEA) (formerly called as CET) , both residents & non- residents of Karnataka can appear for the COMED-K.

There are 9 undergraduate BE degree programs offered by Visvesvaraya College of engineering. They include; Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science & Engeering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Telecommunication, Information Science and Bio Technology. All programs are affiliated to VTU & recognized by AICTE.
