Admission Process in Achutha Institute of Technology

Achutha Institute of Technology affiliated to VTU, Belgavi recognised by UGC, The aim of our institution is to implement a holistic approach in the curriculum and method of teaching through Industry Integrated Interactions to meet the needs of Global Engineering Environment. Achutha Institute of Technology admission is processed in offline mode.

  • Admission in the BE programme is done on the basis of CET/ COMED-K/ JEE Main score
  • Candidates who have obtained a diploma in engineering with a minimum of 50% of marks are eligible for BE lateral programme
  • Admission in BE Lateral Entry programme is done on the basis of Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the CET Cell, Govt. of Karnataka.

Admissions 2021 are open for Under graduate courses.

Students and interested candidate are expected to visit the campus physically and proceed with the admissions process.

AIT offers B.E course in five specializations. The college has an intake of about 150 students. The course is a 4 year, full-time course and consists of 8 semesters.

To be eligible for admission, the candidates must possess a 10+2 qualification with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Admission to the program is granted solely on the basis of the candidate’s performance in KCET.

1. Under Graduation Programme:

The College offer UG programmes in array of engineering disciplines such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communications and the newest of disciplines such as bio medical engineering, aerospace engineering and aeronautical engineering.

Qualifying exams: JEE Main, COMEDK UGET, KCET. Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Electronics / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science as optional subjects and English as a main subject with a minimum 45% aggregate (40% for SC / ST / OBC candidates)

How to Apply For Achutha Institute of Technology?

  • The student has to write the Karnataka CET exam.
  • After the results are announced, a document verification process for the students will take place in the office of KEA located in Malleshwaram.
  • Online Option Entry for counselling will allow the students to choose this college and their desired course.
  • Seat allocation will be published soon after that. There will be two rounds of seat allocation.

  • SSLC/10th standard Marks Card
  • II PUC/12th standard Marks Card
  • Students’ Study Certificate
  • For Rural quota: Rural Study Certificate from 1st to 10th standard.
  • For Kannada Medium quota: Kannada Medium Study Certificate from 1st to 10th Standard for ten complete years
  • For Reservation Category: Caste Certificate/ Income Certificate issued by Concerned
  • Tahsildar- For SC / ST in Form-D, Category-I in form E and 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B in Form F.
