ACPM medical college courses are designed and developed through a well planned and inclusive academic structure.The UG and PG academic programs and their syllabus are approved by the affiliating universityMUHS and approved by the MCI. ACPM has designed its courses in manner to produce competent professionals to cater the medical requirements of the society.The medical programs are very popular among the students in Maharashtra. The curriculum also includes the sharpening of communication skill and professional skills to allow overall growth of students.

The MBBS degree is provided by ACPM at graduate level for the 12th pass students. This college has a range of specializations across its various medical programs at post graduate level. Students can also find PG diploma program here. All the courses include enough theoretical and practical knowledge of subject. The students are also provided with internship opportunities in their curriculum.

The UG and PG programs offered by the college are-

MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery):

This college offers a UG degree in MBBS to the medical aspirants. Students can accomplish a degree after successful academic semesters for 4.5 years and a clinical internship for 1 year from a recognized organization. Internship opportunities are also provided to the students from college in association with multi-specialty hospitals and other medical establishments. This college offers a total of 100 seats for the MBBS candidates. Being approved by the MCI, MBBS students can practice medicine in India after a successful degree.

The 4.5 years of academic curriculum in MBBS is segregated as mentioned below-

• 1st year MBBS- The session duration is of 1 year. Subjects of Anatomy, Biochemistry and Physiology are covered in this duration
• 2nd year MBBS- This session is of 1.5 years duration. The subjects covered in this are FMT, Pathology, Microbiology and Pharmacology
• 3rd year MBBS- The duration of this session is of 2 years where the subjects of Surgery, Medicine, Gynecology, PSM, ENT, Orthopedics and Ophthalmology are covered
• The academic session is followed by a compulsory rotatory internship of 1 year

MD (Doctor of Medicine):

This is postgraduate specialized program that can be pursued post completion of MBBS degree.This program provides an in-depth knowledge and practice on subjects like Radiotherapy, Anatomy, General medicine etc. Students under this course are provided with intense hands-on training to treat the disease and diagnosing accurately. ACPM provides 7 specializations in this program with 2-4 intake capacity each. They are-

• Anesthesia
• General Medicine
• Microbiology
• Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Pediatrics
• Radiology
• Pathology

MS (Master of Surgery):

MS is an advanced qualification in the domain of surgery. This is a 3 years full-time postgraduate level program offered to the MBBS qualified graduates. Students under this course have very big opportunities to work in hospitals and can do research works as well. The specialization offered are-

• General Surgery
• Ophthalmology
• Orthopedics

PG Diploma:

This college also offers PG diploma course for a duration of 2 years across the specialization of obstetrics & gynecology. The course is a full-time one.
