Candidates under General category for the undergraduate courses & post graduate courses under General/Foreign/ NRI/ categories can begin the process by going to the online application page, fill up the details, and upload a photograph alongwith a copy of the signature.
The online application fee consists of 5 simple steps, which covers basic details, contact information, educational qualification, programs & payment & the final step of confirmation. Students can also download the application from their official website.
An application fee of Rs 2000(mandatory application fee of Rs 600 for all Indian applicants and an entrance test fee of Rs 1400, only for selected courses)needs to be remitted via online payment through credit card/ debit card/ net banking. Candidates can also draw a Demand Draft of Rs 2000 in favor of Manipal University, payable at Manipal or Udupi. The filled online application form alongwith DD needs to be couriered to the Director, Indian Admissions, and Admission in Manipal Institute of Technology.
Once the application form alongwith the required documents & application fee is sent across, it will be registered & an application number.
Candidates who have applied and are shortlisted will receive an email & sms from the Admission office to their registered email ids & phone numbers regarding the booking for the Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MUOET). Students are admitted on the basis of merit; admissions to some courses are based on all –India entrance test scores for Indian students. The results of the entrance test & the merit lists are advertised on the Manipal official website. Candidates can also track the status of their application by entering the application number on the college website.
At the time of counseling, the applicant representative, needs to carry all the documents & admission fees and report on time at the venue. In the vent f admission, The college retains all the originals for the entire duration of the course. Admission order & receipts of payment will be issued on completion of the admission process, selected candidates will need to fill in the State Bank of India account opening for Combo ID which will function as photo identity card, access control card, ATM & debit Card. Studnets ho want hostel facility can also avail of the same.
For Admission in Manipal Institute of Technology under Management Quota, student needs to apply under NRI Quota. NRI quota admission in Manipal Institute of Technology is restricted to 15 % of total intake. There is no facility for direct admission in Manipal Institute of Technology.
