AJEE Exam Pattern

The exam pattern is usually set by the conducting body of that exam here. The AJEE exam pattern is prepared and released by the AISECT Group of Universities on their official website for the candidate's reference. It delivers detail on how the examination will be structured and conducted and other important information such as the mode, type, duration, subjects, marking system etc. Through this exam pattern, the candidates will prepare effectively for the exam, gain an understanding of how to manage their time and also they will know what to expect in the exam. Exam conducted in Online Mode

  • On the official AISECT website, the venue information for online examination centres will be available.
  • While completing the registration form, candidates have the option to choose their preferred exam location.
  • Candidates will obtain a special user ID and password to access the online test.
  • A timer will be included in the online exam and will be visible to candidates immediately.
  • After finishing the rest of the paper, candidates can flag questions they want to attempt later.
  • Candidates will be able to select only one option for each question.
  • And there are advised to finish and submit the exam within the given time as the page will automatically stop once the given time is over.

Exam Conducted in offline mode

  • On the official AISECT website, location information for a few offline examination centres will be posted.
  • During registration, candidates can select the exam centre of their choice.
  • The test will be administered using OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) technology.
  • Only one answer should be marked for each question in the OMR sheet if more than one answer is marked it will not be evaluated.
  • To answer the questions, candidates must use a blue or black ballpoint pen.

AJEE 2025 will be conducted in online mode as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) at designated exam centers across India.
The total duration of the exam is usually 2 hours (120 minutes). However, the exact time may vary slightly depending on the course applied for.
The exam consists of Multiple questions (MCQs). Each question has four options, with only one correct answer.
