AJEE Exam Pattern
The exam pattern is usually set by the conducting body of that exam here. The AJEE exam pattern is prepared and released by the AISECT Group of Universities on their official website for the candidate's reference. It delivers detail on how the examination will be structured and conducted and other important information such as the mode, type, duration, subjects, marking system etc. Through this exam pattern, the candidates will prepare effectively for the exam, gain an understanding of how to manage their time and also they will know what to expect in the exam. This will reduce their exam fear and anxiety. To effectively prepare for AJEE and perform well on the test, candidates should be familiar with the exam pattern.

- As per the candidate's preferences, the exam can be attended either online or offline.
- The time limit allotted to complete the exam is 2 hours
- There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- The sections in the question paper asked will vary depending on the course.
Exam conducted in Online Mode
- On the official AISECT website, the venue information for online examination centres will be available.
- While completing the registration form, candidates have the option to choose their preferred exam location.
- Candidates will obtain a special user ID and password to access the online test.
- A timer will be included in the online exam and will be visible to candidates immediately.
- After finishing the rest of the paper, candidates can flag questions they want to attempt later.
- Candidates will be able to select only one option for each question.
- And there are advised to finish and submit the exam within the given time as the page will automatically stop once the given time is over.
Exam Conducted in offline mode
- On the official AISECT website, location information for a few offline examination centres will be posted.
- During registration, candidates can select the exam centre of their choice.
- The test will be administered using OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) technology.
- Only one answer should be marked for each question in the OMR sheet if more than one answer is marked it will not be evaluated.
- To answer the questions, candidates must use a blue or black ballpoint pen.
