Admissions and Selection Process

Application Submission: Candidates must fill out the application form, providing personal details, academic records, and the preferred course of study.

Entrance Examination: For certain courses, especially professional programs like Engineering, Management, and Pharmacy, candidates may need to appear for an entrance examination. BMU accepts scores from national-level entrance exams such as JEE (for Engineering) and CAT/MAT (for Management). For other programs, the university conducts its own entrance test.

Merit List and Counseling: Based on the entrance exam scores and academic performance, BMU prepares a merit list. Shortlisted candidates are called for counseling sessions where they can select their desired course and complete the admission formalities.

Document Verification and Fee Payment: After counseling, candidates need to verify their documents and pay the admission fees to confirm their seat.

Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate Programs

  • Engineering (B.Tech): Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, securing at least 50% aggregate marks. A valid JEE score is also required.
  • B.A.M.S (Ayurveda): Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, securing at least 50% marks. NEET-UG scores are considered for admission.
  • BBA/B.Com/B.Sc: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • Law (BA LLB): Candidates must have completed 10+2 with at least 50% marks. CLAT scores are preferred but not mandatory.

Postgraduate Programs

  • MBA: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Scores from CAT/MAT/CMAT or the university's entrance test are considered.
  • M.Tech: Candidates should have a B.Tech degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks. GATE scores are considered for admission.
  • M.Sc/M.A/M.Com: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with at least 50% marks.
