All Bangalore Institute of Technology admission to the fouryear BE/B Tech. Programmes offered are acceptedon the basis of the candidate’s KCET/COMED-K scores.

Eligibility - UG

Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the four years B.E. degree course should have passed two years of P.U.C. Examinations conducted by the Pre-University Board of Karnataka State or any other Examination recognized as equivalent by the Visveswaraya Technology University and should have obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate of optional subjects. Also English, Physics, Chemistry, and Math's should have been part of the compulsory subjects taken up at an earlier level.

Eligibility - PG(M.Tech)

Candidates must have passed in all subjects in which they have appeared in Class 10 (excluding optional subjects).

Candidates must have two years of P.U.C. Examinations conducted by the Pre-University Board of Karnataka State or any other Examination recognized as equivalent by the Visveswaraya Technology University.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree of Visveswaraya Technology University or any other Examination recognized as equivalent by the Visveswaraya Technology University incorporated by an act of the central or state legislatures in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament. This degree must entail a minimum of four years of education obtained a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate.

Steps for Application

Application forms are available for download on the website of BIT Bangalore and filled in forms along with copies of all the supporting documents must be submitted by post to the college, before the cut-off date which is also announced online. The application fee is INR 500. Part of the application process for admission is done online where candidates need to register and create an account online using their email and cell numbers as login credentials. The Admission process typically begins in April and concludes with the final counseling process. The classes for the new academic sessions usually commerce from the month of July or August.
